Every edition can annotate everything: every media type and tool, pre-labelling with your own model, import and export in every format, review, the API and the SDK. Paid editions add people, and Business adds what an organisation’s IT and compliance need. Prices are in EUR; VAT is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, at checkout.

Team and Business have no seat limit. The online checkout takes up to 500 users per order; for more, contact us and we issue the licence against an invoice.

Frequently asked questions

Section titled “What counts as a “user”?”Anyone who has signed in during the last 30 days: an annotator, reviewer, owner or viewer account. A service account used only by a script, CI job or AI agent does not count, but see the terms for exact rules.
Can I really use Community at work?
Section titled “Can I really use Community at work?”Yes. Annotide is licensed under the Elastic License 2.0: any use, commercial included, within what the install allows without a key — up to three people and every annotation feature. A key adds people and the Business features. What the licence forbids is getting around the key, and offering Annotide to others as a hosted service.
What happens when a subscription or trial ends?
Section titled “What happens when a subscription or trial ends?”Your data stays yours: reading and export always work. A trial goes back to Community at once. A paid licence gets 30 days of grace, then annotation work pauses until it’s renewed. A lapsed Business licence never weakens security: folder permissions stay enforced and the audit log keeps recording.
How is VAT handled?

How are licence keys delivered?
Section titled “How are licence keys delivered?”Your licence key arrives by email from licences@annotide.com right after
checkout; Paddle sends the receipt separately. Paste the key under Settings →
Licence, or set it as APP_LICENSE_KEY before the install starts. A
daily refresh keeps it current; it is not telemetry, and no licence check
ever depends on reaching our servers. See the installation

Can I use it offline, air-gapped?
