Refund Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
All Annotide licence purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), who is the merchant of record for the transaction. Paddle requires every seller on its platform to publish a clear refund policy; this is ours.
Our policy
Section titled “Our policy”We offer a 14-day, no-questions refund on your first purchase of an Annotide Team, Business or Enterprise licence. If you are not satisfied for any reason, email hello@annotide.com within 14 days of your first purchase and we will request a full refund through Paddle, no explanation required.
This applies to:
- your first purchase of a new licence (not renewals — see below);
- any seat count or plan purchased through annotide.com/pricing.
It does not automatically apply to:
- renewals of an existing subscription — if you no longer want to renew, cancel before the renewal date rather than requesting a refund afterwards (see Cancelling);
- Enterprise invoiced contracts, which are refunded as the signed Enterprise agreement provides;
- purchases found to be in breach of the Licence or Terms at the time of the refund request (for example, a licence being refunded to avoid a seat true-up).
How to request a refund
Section titled “How to request a refund”- Email hello@annotide.com from the address used to purchase, with your Paddle order/receipt number.
- We aim to confirm within two business days and submit the refund to Paddle.
- Paddle refunds your original payment method. When the money shows on your account depends on your bank or card provider and usually takes a few business days.
Cancelling a subscription
Section titled “Cancelling a subscription”You can cancel a Team or Business subscription at any time; it remains active until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for, and does not renew afterwards. Cancelling does not retroactively refund the current period unless it falls within the 14-day first-purchase window above.
How to cancel
Section titled “How to cancel”- Yourself: open the “Your subscription confirmation” email from R Squared Data Solutions via paddle.com and follow its link to cancel your subscription (or “Manage subscription”).
- Or ask us: email hello@annotide.com from the address used to purchase. We cancel the subscription in Paddle at the end of your paid period and confirm by email.
Your licence key keeps working until the “valid until” date in your licence email; nothing renews after that. Then the usual 30-day grace period applies, as on the Licence page.
Licence access after a refund
Section titled “Licence access after a refund”A refunded licence is revoked: from the revocation date your key counts as expired. An installation that uses the licence refresh learns of it within a day and gets the normal 30-day grace period, then restricted mode, as on the Licence page. Once you remove the key, the installation runs as the free Community edition again, for up to three users.
Your statutory rights
Section titled “Your statutory rights”If you are purchasing as a consumer under EU/EEA, UK or other applicable consumer-protection law, nothing in this policy limits any statutory withdrawal or refund right you have under that law — including rights Paddle separately describes in its own buyer terms for digital purchases. Where this policy is more generous than the statutory minimum (for example, offering a refund window on a licence a consumer has already started using), the more generous term applies; where a mandatory right is broader than this policy, the mandatory right applies.
Contact
Section titled “Contact”Questions about a specific charge, invoice or payment method should go to Paddle support (Paddle’s buyer-facing help centre), since Paddle holds your payment details. Questions about licence terms, seats or revocation should go to hello@annotide.com.
